Our objective is the is the development of the principles of solidarity among the sea people, the promotion of sea and peace culture, the defence of the environment, sustainable development and cooperation for the development.

Therefore, we are open to get involved in different projects, always according to our goals and principles, trying to find the promotion of research, education, sensitizing and economy, voluntary work promotion and the planification and carrying out of cooperation and cultural, civic and eductional development programs.

We have the experience and the knowledge and we are looking forward to take part in any initiative aimed at the protection and preservation of the sea, a better understanding of its richness and more welfare for its people.

In order to take into account all the aspects connected with the sea and water as a source of life, the Foundation is divided in five different areas, known as Tides. Our most characteristical and emblematic action is the Union of the Oceans Ceremony:
